In my defense I sort of forgot he was there.
[Like a jar of pickles in the back of your pantry.]
But it all worked out in the end! Happy endings all around, lessons learned about love and friendship, the evil is defeated and all that.
[And then that evil spent the past 5 years fixing what she broke.]
