the mark of those who cannot be saved
[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out, that's no excuse for truancy! Which is to say: you are still in the school.
For those executed, you will wake up in your beds. The dormitories look exactly as they did when you first arrived, without any of the changes or personal effects you and your dormmates might have made. The only real difference is that the little cot in Ambassador isn't there.
For those who were victims, you will wake where your body was discovered. All of your injuries are gone, and you feel fine. It's almost like you're still alive - but you remember what happened to you. It couldn't have just been a dream, could it?
The school looks much as you remember it, save perhaps for a few key differences. For one, there's no groundhog murals anywhere. Where things were green on the other side, like banners or paint, you'll find that here they're blood red.
The doors, for the moment, are still locked. Looks like even death couldn't free you.]
Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5
(( ooc: Welcome to deadland, everyone! It mostly resembles the school here, and new floors will be revealed after new people die. For example, the second area will unlock after the week 3 dead arrive, and so on. Also, all dead characters will wake up at their actual canonpoint, with all lost memories restored. Have fun being dead! ))

And suddenly, its eyes widen]
A harnessed observer effect. It has merit.
[DID THE SQUIP JUST REACH A LOGICAL PATH THAT ALLOWS IT TO BELIEVE IN IRRATIONALITY, MAYBE]

Let's do this!
[Nod! She'll take one side if you take the other, SQUIP!]

And once they get to the entrance of the cafeteria, and set that sucker down, it's time to go to town with the hammer and nails!--]
Oh, wait, I'll get another hammer!
One moment, I'll be right back!

...it's used to humans doing things instead, though, so it'll patiently wait, while judging a position where it will best be seen and Observed and it's still not certain if this is going to make a difference any more. So, uncertain of what else to do...
Its voice is quiet once more as it looks at down at the sign and brushes its fingers along the edge]
I thought the future held a perfect place for us
That together we would learn to be the best that we could be
In my naivety I slipped, you thought I had gotten in your way
Somehow I let you turn your back on me
[it brings its hand up to its chest, slowly, as it looks around, as if seeing this place for the first time]
And one day I woke to find
The future had no place for me
I was unwanted in a world
That with my hands I was to help build
Where once was honesty and pride
I now stand broken and alone
Just a shadow of what I was meant to be
[A grip of fists, and then- a slow movement of hands. Up, up, down down-]
Does anybody feel
the way I do?
Is there anybody out there?
Are you hearing me?
If I believe in you
Will you believe in me?
Or am I alone
in this hall of dreams?
[And now- now it turns back towards where Sissi had gone, as if afraid she's about to return]
I'll believe in you,
if you believe in me
But I have no trust
in anything
Somehow I fear
You'll go and turn your back on me.
I'm not ready
For you to turn your back on me.

Here we are.
Are you ready?

Of course. I have determined the optimal placement- there.
