[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out, that's no excuse for truancy! Which is to say: you are still in the school.

For those executed, you will wake up in your beds. The dormitories look exactly as they did when you first arrived, without any of the changes or personal effects you and your dormmates might have made. The only real difference is that the little cot in Ambassador isn't there.

For those who were victims, you will wake where your body was discovered. All of your injuries are gone, and you feel fine. It's almost like you're still alive - but you remember what happened to you. It couldn't have just been a dream, could it?

The school looks much as you remember it, save perhaps for a few key differences. For one, there's no groundhog murals anywhere. Where things were green on the other side, like banners or paint, you'll find that here they're blood red.

The doors, for the moment, are still locked. Looks like even death couldn't free you.]

[LP has been strangely silent since the actual summoning had started. She'd been active for sure, pacing and gesturing and glaring at the Balladeer a few times. It's very suddenly that she jerks back, frustration creeping into her expression.]

Dammit! That wizarding rat bastard. Alright, change of plans- everyone get to the gym. We're moving to plan B.

That damn Wizard happened! [She's already powerwalking toward the gym.] He's learned from the last time apparently, so we've got to get sneaky.

[All of that had been...overwhelming, even if it didn't seem like much was really happening. Nothing was being said verbally, but he could still feel their intent reaching out to the living. ...and he could feel their responses.

His grip on Rina's hand is tight, and he can feel tears burning the corners of his eyes. He doesn't let them fall this time though, instead turning his attention back to LP when she suddenly jerks back.

Wizarding? Fuck.

[Varian heard about those marks, the messages- he saw a few on the tree in the garden, even if they were grown over. He knows other ways of communication are possible.]

[The Balladeer's been doing essentially the same thing - a lot of standing with his hands in his pockets and staring at the sky, looking sad with occasional pauses to glare at the Leading Player. But he snaps back to the here and now at the same time, turning to make sure everyone's here.]

It'll just break out in to a sprint to run ahead of the group and get what it needs. Sure, it's mostly covered a whiteboard - and possibly marked on the wall next to it, because why not - but it might or might not have rewritten the work in tidier formats on paper]

[Assuming everyone has safely entered the gym, LP is making an immediate beeline for the gym closet. She turns to do a quick headcount and, satisfied, claps her hands one more time.]

Alright! Since the Wizard wants to cut us off, we're just gonna go ahead and make our own little ritual. SQUIP- toss those formulas into the closet. Rina and the Empress- run real quick and grab couple of costumes. Anything'll do, they're just fuel for this fire but the more colorful the better. Varian and Connor- grab us some of those basketballs. Mumble- find a crown. There's gotta be one here somewhere. Just toss it all in the closet.

And Balladeer- get on the other side of the door.
