[So, for a change of things, it's not Salieri gathering people together in the cafeteria this time, but... Discord? Discord, organizing? Willingly? Oh, we are having a time here. There's enough tea and cucumber sandwiches for everyone, everything all set up.

Some of the sandwiches are floating. Don't worry about it.

There's whiteboards set up, as well, though right now they're mostly filled with a lot of random doodles of people here and in the land of the living. Some of them are nicer than others. There's more than a few rude ones of the SQUIP, because we're all super mature adults here. At least one of the boards is just a mess of abstract colors.

Everyone will be greeted by Discord and also the dulcet tones of Dancing Queen playing on the boombox he dragged over here. You're welcome.]

[Salieri blinks, listening to that series of notes, frowning. Before the dress rehearsal, he might've parsed them as only notes in a scale, nothing more, but now...

...the can almost parse that there's something else there, hidden behind the notes, reaching out with a different meaning, with an emotion, connection--]

[Something throbs in his temples, and Salieri winces, shaking his head a bit, pulling his attention back from that. Too much, too soon, it seems]

Oh, very interesting--

[Because yeah, Discord definitely noticed the meaning behind those notes, but... then Salieri reacts. He looks over, frowning.]

...All good there?

Yes, fine, I...[he touches one of his temples with his fingers]

[...? Salieri wasn't connected to the synchronization, but- then again. He was connected somehow. Everyone who was designed as essential to the project was, in a sense, even if it was...adjusted, later.

Has he eaten? These bodies were not designed for what we performed, yesterday. [Which Discord no doubt knows, but. Y'know.]

But yes, none of you are exactly made for altering reality in any sort of way.

Usually it's...easy, popping between worlds. Nothing like that's ever happened to me before... [And certainly not to the Player, he imagines.]

You two mentioned that you had difficulty exerting your powers here. Would the stress then be related to the Wizard's control, or the performance itself?

...maybe the Wizard. I've been in plenty of shows that weren't mine, but usually not...a hostile one, so to speak. 'Course, what we just did isn't really usual either. You two being involved and all.

There is a high probability that we will experience these stresses again if we continue. While the new performance should spread that stress and mitigate it...are you willing to continue, even if it doesn't?

[The Balladeer and LP are more-or-less the sources of the energy they're hoping to boost. While the SQUIP could probably help construct something without one or the other...it would be extremely difficult.]
