[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out you're still trapped here.

When you open your eyes it might take you a minute to recognize your surroundings. It's your dressing room, that much is certain, but nothing is where you remember it. It's like everything has been picked up and moved to the other side of the room. The entire room has been perfectly mirrored from what it used to be and, upon leaving, it seems the rest of the opera house is just the same. If you remember one room being in the east wing, it's now in the west. If it was in the west, it's now in the east.

Ribbon did all the cooking around the embassy before, but we had a fight because she made this gross fish for breakfast and I wanted pancakes, and I ended up going to Yuuko's and she talked about how your feelings go into your food.

My real name is Himelda Window Cure Queen of the Blue Sky, and I'm the princess of the Blue Sky Kingdom! Some... things happened and I had to go live in the embassy in Japan. My name was too long and nobody could remember or pronounce it, so I started going by "Shirayuki Hime," because I liked the fairy tale.

No, princess is my title. "Himelda Window Cure Queen of the Blue Sky" is my name! It's kind of squished onto my birth certificate.

The sky is bright and beautiful, even when things are going wrong. It's kind of comforting. I lived in a huge castle on top of a hill surrounded by trees. I knew all the secret passages! Humans and fairies live there, and it was always nice. I miss my family, even if I chose to keep living in Pikarigaoka.

I didn't have friends before I came to Pikarigaoka. I thought it sounded nice, like having friends made your life convenient, but I didn't know how great it was until I actually found some. I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to do it if God hadn't told me to. They're all really nice.

That sounds sort of fun. We have a lot of fun celebrations in Pikarigaoka, too. I wonder how the Halloween festival is turning out? I mean, if it's Halloween at home. The Balladeer said it was almost time here.
