[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out you're still trapped here.

When you open your eyes it might take you a minute to recognize your surroundings. It's your dressing room, that much is certain, but nothing is where you remember it. It's like everything has been picked up and moved to the other side of the room. The entire room has been perfectly mirrored from what it used to be and, upon leaving, it seems the rest of the opera house is just the same. If you remember one room being in the east wing, it's now in the west. If it was in the west, it's now in the east.

Welcome back to the Opera House, friends, you're not out of the woods yet.]





[ooc: Welcome to deadland, darlings! It's a perfectly mirrored version of the Opera House and each week, as new people die after new floors have been revealed, the stairwell doors will unlock and allow you to reach them. For example, week 3 victims will unlock floor 2 and so on and so forth. Also, all dead characters will wake up at their actual canon point.

...I think the execution took away the protection Neverland gave him. Then he turned into dust.

I didn't think syphilis turned you into dust.

[sigh] D-ne suggested trying to haunt people, since Valjean-san says we must be stuck in this weird mirror afterlife for a reason. I guess it isn't working so far, though. Did anything weird happen to you all?

No, not that I can think of. I was busy looking in your guys' rooms.

They left their stuff in there? What was in mine? I didn't see anything, but I suppose I didn't look... Wait, my room! D-ne's book!

I...actually didn't get a chance to look through your room. If there had been anything, it might have been under the bed or behind the mirror.

[Her other self apparently did, but...who knows what the heck they did]

What about D-ne's book?

It's cursed! She told me! Everyone who touches it dies! She had it, and then I had it, and then anyone else who was in my room, maybe they touched it too! Please tell me nobody started trying to summon demons like the book said to...

No...no one's summoned anything, so far as I've been aware.

[Hime calm down]

[rockthistown]

Okay... I just don't want people to keep dying. It's bad enough that we're stuck here.

[solomonjihad]

I don't either.

[She takes a tentative step forward.]

Hime...has anyone checked the bedrooms here?

[rockthistown]

I don't know. Our things are missing, though. I miss my chicken.

[solomonjihad]

...We should.

[She had noticed her room is not a landfill anymore.]

Do you want to come with me?

[rockthistown]

Okay. [Hime sniffles and lets go, then holds out her arms for her bedsheet.] Where do you think we should try first?

INVESTIGATION TIME

...I say we start with our own rooms and work from there.

[rockthistown]

Okay! Mine's still at the end of the hall.

[Off to 001! Would there be anything really out of the ordinary at first?]
