[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out you're still trapped here.

When you open your eyes it might take you a minute to recognize your surroundings. It's your dressing room, that much is certain, but nothing is where you remember it. It's like everything has been picked up and moved to the other side of the room. The entire room has been perfectly mirrored from what it used to be and, upon leaving, it seems the rest of the opera house is just the same. If you remember one room being in the east wing, it's now in the west. If it was in the west, it's now in the east.

Welcome back to the Opera House, friends, you're not out of the woods yet.]

It's a perfectly mirrored version of the Opera House and each week, as new people die after new floors have been revealed, the stairwell doors will unlock and allow you to reach them. For example, week 3 victims will unlock floor 2 and so on and so forth. Also, all dead characters will wake up at their actual canon point.

Well, this wasn't what I was expecting.

[dead twice over and still in the opera house, cool. i guess he'll start poking around this mirrored version of hell. although he's going to just kind of look around the opera house and he can be found pretty much anywhere, he's probably mostly looking for valjean and astarte lets be real]

[Its not going to be hard to find Astarte. She's investigating rooms, and is actually about to go into another room when, out of the corner of her eyes, she sees Javert.]

[Really, she should have expected him. She is still nervous, just the same, as he approaches.]

[Valjean is out and about, but doubtless the two of them will cross paths eventually. He freezes. It's difficult to imagine anyone successfully killing Javert - the man has always seemed almost an implacable force of nature. But it's harder still to think of him murdering an innocent person, so.]

[Not to mention the new memories - or the old ones, he supposes. Valjean recalls meeting with the other Javert at the barricade now, the agreement they'd made over Marius's body and how the Inspector never followed through. Did the same happen with this one?]

[For him, what happened at the barricade wasn't all that remarkable. What was he going to do, actually shoot Javert? Stand by and watch some student execute him? So he doesn't feel the need to bring it up now.]

But we think there must be a reason for it - we've been trying to find ways to contact the living.

[Javert can find Hime in the bakery, trying to roll out a lump of dough. She spots him out of the corner of her eye and jumps.]

[bows] It's nice, I guess, there aren't any motives or anything... But it's still terrible! We're stuck here and more people keep coming in and I still want to go home! D-ne said we should try haunting you and the new person seems to know how to do it, which is probably good because I tried walking around with a bedsheet over my head going "ooo, ooo" earlier and all that got me was a bruise.

[In Javert's searching he's bound to find Eliza in the main lobby, sewing away on a needlepoint project that will probably never be finished. Or she has eternity to finish, whichever comes first. She lifts her head when she hears someone approach and-

[he's quiet for a moment.]

[She puts down her sewing and rises to her feet, approaching him with her head high and her hands folded on front of her. She might be (at least) a head shorter than him but she's carrying herself with all the grace, poise and authority she can muster.]

Inspector Javert, the blame for my death falls on Captain Hook and myself, not you.
