[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out you're still trapped here.

When you open your eyes it might take you a minute to recognize your surroundings. For the executed, it's your dressing room. For the victims, you startle awake in the place your body was discovered. But no matter where you are nothing is where you remember it. It's like everything has been picked up and moved to the other side of the room. The entire room has been perfectly mirrored from what it used to be and, upon leaving, it seems the rest of the opera house is just the same. If you remember one room being in the east wing, it's now in the west. If it was in the west, it's now in the east.


Welcome back to the Opera House, friends. Even in death you're still in the woods.]

Too be fair, it was always night in the Opera House when we were alive as well.

It was...like this there too? In the real...live...person world? I mean, I always just figured it was like this 'cause it was...

[Sigyn ladles out a bowl full and sets it on the island with a spoon for him before making one for herself.]

While I was there, yeah. We could only see the outside through some windows in the ballroom, but it was always night.

[It's all kinda weird, though? He'll just come over to get that soup now.]

Glad you like it. I know we don't need to eat, but no reason to give it up completely.

I haven't really eaten since I died. [......] Don't even remember what the last thing was I ate before that.

Not surprising. I don't think I ate for the first few days. Just sort of forgot. [Honestly now it's just something to do]

So you were in the Opera House before us? Were there others, or just you?

I don't - no. I mean, I don't remember? But all of you guys were there, and then you died, and I'm here, so.....

What's the last thing you remembered before you woke up here?

I was going to, uh, a friend's house. [he is like, so visibly either lying or hiding something]

If you don't want to talk about it, it's okay. We're just trying to figure out what's going on here.

[he's quiet for a moment, eating his soup]

It was...it was...bad. Things were bad. But not...I, I don't think I...should be dead. Because of it. I mean, I don't know why I would be. I wasn't...

[It's a little concerning he doesn't even remember how he got here. At least they all remembered how they died and being in the Opera House to begin with.]

....no. I, I don't see how. I guess I could've, um. Could've been in an accident or something.

[He shrugs listlessly. Sure, there's a lot of things that could've happened; he just doesn't have any particular reason to think anything specific did?]
