now let's skip the tears and start on the whole-
[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out you're still trapped here.
When you open your eyes it might take you a minute to recognize your surroundings. For the executed, it's your dressing room. For the victims, you startle awake in the place your body was discovered. But no matter where you are nothing is where you remember it. It's like everything has been picked up and moved to the other side of the room. The entire room has been perfectly mirrored from what it used to be and, upon leaving, it seems the rest of the opera house is just the same. If you remember one room being in the east wing, it's now in the west. If it was in the west, it's now in the east.
Welcome back to the Opera House, friends. Even in death you're still in the woods.]
WEEK 1 | WEEK 2 | WEEK 3 | WEEK 4 | WEEK 5
[ooc: Welcome to deadland, darlings! It's a perfectly mirrored version of the Opera House and each week, as new people die after new floors have been revealed, the stairwell doors will unlock and allow you to reach them. For example, week 3 victims will unlock floor 2 and so on and so forth. Also, all dead characters will wake up at their actual canon point.
Have fun because we have some fun things planned for you.]

Leave? No! No, I have to- you're hearing this, right? It's- it's the SQUIP! It's the SQUIP, and it's going to get him killed!
[ You know how she was trying to get to the Phantom's box? Yeah. Yeah, she's just. Redoubling her efforts now. ]

he’s just as weak as I thought. Just an accident and not a killer. It would be nice to find someone who understand me or else-
-another person will be here to be a thorn on his side, and one who knows some of the stories of Fife. He and Riley had better not team up on him.]
How is it still alive? [He says cooly.]

S-someone must've-- [ She closes her eyes tight but. But won't keep them closed. She has to watch this. ]
no subject
[A shrug. He feels nothing about this. Maybe disappointment? He's not too sure.]

[ Riley wants to- she can't even comfort him, or Christine, or anyone. Because she snapped. And made everything worse. ]
He was just trying...to help.
no subject
[Angus can relate to that.]
But it didn't come back to stop him from trying to save Shilo.
no subject
[ That's a- she turns on Angus, breathing heavily. ]
He's still- look down there! He's still Jeremy! He's not- He's! Not! Like! Us!

And it's only a computer. It wasn't as powerful as it said.

It c-can't make anything go away. The feelings, th-the thoughts- all the bad things. He just w-wanted it all...to go away.

I’m willing to try it if you are. Wouldn’t be the craziest jump I’ve seen.
[And what’s the worst thing that can happen? It can’t be worse than bleeding out had been.]

[ Her head whips around. Claudine? ]
B-but- ...you know how to...without getting hurt?
no subject
[this is a terrible idea but she doesn’t have a better one, and she’s not lying when she says she’s done this before. she just didn’t remember it.]
...there’s really no trick to it other than to focus and just...not be afraid of what could go wrong.
no subject
...I'm d-down if you're down. [ She may still be stuttering. But she's determined, and maybe that's good? ]
no subject
[Claudine’s out of her seat, one foot on the railing.
Someone might want to stop this because it’s a terrible idea.]

One, two...

[When did he get here? How did he get here from like 8 boxes away? Doesn't matter because he's here now and you two have to deal with him!
:D]

Keep asking.]

[She really, really isn’t.]
Because I can’t keep looking at this and do nothing about it.

Nah, it's only fun the first dozen times.

Well hey there, old Beetleborg!
[Eheh, get it? t's not his name.]
Aw, c'mon. I just wanna see if I can get to the stage again! The view from there was great.
no subject
Heya, Spinny! You're stretchy enough to try but like I said, I've been here years and never made it down. [He pops his feet up onto the edge of the box, bright-eyed and curious.] What's it like up there?
