now let's skip the tears and start on the whole-
[You remember dying. Maybe the memory is clear and bright and your body still aches from the cause. Maybe it was fast enough that you didn't feel it and don't remember what you went through. But no matter how you went out you're still trapped here.
When you open your eyes it might take you a minute to recognize your surroundings. For the executed, it's your dressing room. For the victims, you startle awake in the place your body was discovered. But no matter where you are nothing is where you remember it. It's like everything has been picked up and moved to the other side of the room. The entire room has been perfectly mirrored from what it used to be and, upon leaving, it seems the rest of the opera house is just the same. If you remember one room being in the east wing, it's now in the west. If it was in the west, it's now in the east.
Welcome back to the Opera House, friends. Even in death you're still in the woods.]
WEEK 1 | WEEK 2 | WEEK 3 | WEEK 4 | WEEK 5
[ooc: Welcome to deadland, darlings! It's a perfectly mirrored version of the Opera House and each week, as new people die after new floors have been revealed, the stairwell doors will unlock and allow you to reach them. For example, week 3 victims will unlock floor 2 and so on and so forth. Also, all dead characters will wake up at their actual canon point.
Have fun because we have some fun things planned for you.]

[That all looks normal to Evan, who just walked in!
But he's brought something else weird along with him! Say hi to Steven!]
no subject
[That. Doesn't look good.]
Have they- you know, figured it out yet?
no subject
Steven?
no subject
[Steven stares for a second before giving a sad little wave from Evan and BJ's booth.]
Hi your majesty. Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to really finish your biography.
no subject
[He looks at the trial room, and then back at Steven. There's a lot happening right now, Steven.]
...There's something fishy going on here.
[But! He doesn't want to seem like he isn't- well, he's not happy to see Steven, obviously, but like he doesn't want to be unfriendly about it, so:]
But after this is over, believe me, the hug carriage is pulling into the station.

H-hey- heyyy, has this ever- they don't usually...show up yet, do they?!
no subject
[This is all new to him too, can things maybe stop moving so fast?]
no subject
[ hi steven nice to talk to you but damn these circumstances suck ]

How long have you been here?!
no subject
[How long does it take to get from the kitchen or here, including a short, confused conversation?]
...Are you still Evil Angus or just Angus again?
no subject
[He can answer this question. He should know.]
The Knife of Evil's effect does not simply vanish.
no subject
[This is all a lot, and now he's turned up??? Early???]
Why - are you okay?
no subject
[This is perfectly fine!]
Uh- okay for being dead, I guess? Kind of- not sure, honestly.
[He is gonna beat the shit out of Tall Stephen, but he's fine!]

[Oh buddy, nothing is getting in the way of this Gem on a mission to tackle-hug you to the ground.
Apologies for the cartoonishly large tears]
no subject
[Oh, ow, tackling, hugging, okay. At least this is a better reception than he was expecting from her?]
[And. Oh wow. The reality of those missing two years is really hitting now. Hoo.]
It's- good to see you. I'm sorry.
[Hugs and tears is now, dealing with missing memories can be later.]
no subject
Also she's just. Not letting go of him. You've got a Gem draped over you, Steven.]
No, no no. You don't have to apologize! I was a wreck with everything that happened!
[That's... probably not what he means.]
