[Hello and welcome to the cafeteria. Salieri has set up one of the tables with some sandwiches and water, as well as papers and pencils. Once everyone is settled, Salieri stands. He’s conferred with the SQUIP on the purpose of this meeting, and so clears his throat. It’s a much smaller crowd, but perhaps, with the right amount of push, they can still make a difference.]

Good afternoon. Thank you all for coming. I have discussed today’s topics with the SQUIP, and have organized them by topic, so that we may be sure to address all areas.

...is it possible to gain such power? What if one were to create a show to gain that power themselves?

...I've never heard of it happening but, with things the way they are now, it's not impossible.

It would have to be someone who knows how to write a script well in the first place. And writing a libretto with the proper poetry is no easy task.

Not if they're going jukebox-style. Those are all the rage right now.

I do not have a frame of reference for what that means.

However, I'll take it to mean that there are other styles of libretto or script that do not require actual skill in the written word.

Something like that, yeah. The way it works is you take a song that already exists and then work it into a greater narrative. Comes with built-in fans, less braincells burnt, a fast track to success.

There's a reason Nana and I have been running all over creation making sure shows go how they should. All the mucking around we did, before and after, may have caused some...universal entanglement issues.

Was this before or after the Wizard showed up?

Before. It started not long after my first game but it didn't start to become an actual issue until after my second one.

Then, considering the Wizard's concern for his family and his home, and the blame he places on someone else...it could be possible that his home was affected by what what's been done to the multiverse. It would explain his anger.

The question is, who is he now serving for what might be their redemption?

Apparently the multiverse doesn't like it when you throw people around different shows willy nilly, cause several crossover ships and resurrect dead teenager girls.

...could the impact of that be what disturbed the Wizard?

That was my thought. It's possible it could've affected his home and family, and he made some sort of agreement with someone or someones to regain them.

It could be why he has dehumanized the Balladeer so much. He no longer sees him as a person due to his involvement.

Precisely. And to his similarity of power to that of Madame Leading Player's.

...well, we couldn't just send them all home.

[He couldn't, is what he really means; she hadn't been involved in that at all. He really couldn't, though, right? It would have just been cruel.]

Obviously not. With understudies and everything it didn't seem like it'd be an issue...until it was. Props going missing, severe miscasting, shows abruptly closing down, The Music Man making a comeback.

Not to mention the crossover issues.

Crossover issues - because of all the travel? I know my cast kinda goes back and forth a lot...they use Billy's tech for most of it these days, though. I'm not everyone's ride.

Something's gotta line up the street parade.

It still causes ripples, Balladeer. Someone's in Arendelle when they should be in their hometown. A love interest with a key plotline finds someone new. Now I'm not saying they're all bad or all good- it just changes things.

And that has an effect.

Exactly, only mess around with the multiverse if you know what you're doing. It's not our fault it doesn't know what's good for it.
